School Talks

Bring your history class to life with our re-enactors! We have a dedicated school team who are DBS checked and have extensive experience of working with children. Our school talks can be one on one subject with our Living History team, a knight to show armour and weaponry or an archer to show why historic archers were so important during the 100 Years War. ​

Evening Talks/Tabletop Displays​

Our re-enactors have done extensive research on topics within the 100 Years War and medieval life, and as such can offer evening talks or tabletop displays on numerous subjects such as Barber Surgeons and medicine, strategies in combat and warfare, calligraphy and manuscripts and many more!​

Living History Only

Perhaps you don't have the room or event for a full archery and knight display? No problem! Our Living History camp can bring their tools and expertise to your event to educate and entertain the public about daily medieval life as well as the artisans of the period. Day and Weekend(+) Events with Full Encampment

For our day events, we bring our full Living History camp, our Knights retinue and our archers troop.

Our Living History team will set up our medieval tents, bunting, fittings and furniture for a household to create all the sights, sounds and smells of medieval life for the public to step into and experience.​ Please see our Living History page for more details.

Our Knights retinue will entertain and educate your visitors with our Knights Show and Arming the Knight - please see our Combat page for more details.

Our Archers will demonstrate their skills by shooting at our archery butts, as well as shooting as part of a team. Please see our Archery page for more details.

Our Knights and Archers retinue will recreate battles from a bygone era, and can even recreate specific battles from within our period of the 100 Years War. This includes archers firing at their enemies and full contact combat. Please see our Combat page for more details.

Film/TV/Photography

Whether it be historical, documentary or fantasy, the College of Chivalry can offer our full community of re-enactment to help create an authentic atmosphere. We provide fully trained and insured combatants and archers with costume, weaponry and armour for fight scenes as well as experienced living history members with full costume as civilians for domestic/village/markets scenes, and highly skilled artisans for domestic and workplace scenes.

The College of Chivalry is available for special events such as​

Street Theatre/Festivals/Literature Events/Museums/Openings - Static or roving characters for events, shows and festivals. Our re-enactors love to engage with the public and help to give a fun and engaging experience to visitors. Whether it be for a book talk and signing where you need knights flanking your esteemed author, or a show with ladies of rank parading though the streets, our reenactors would love to help take your event to the next level!​​

Weddings - Planning a medieval wedding? Why not take your plans to the next level with the College of Chivalry! Our knights can lead your bride into your ceremony, and provide a sword arch upon your exit, our Living History troop can escort your guests from one venue to another, and our archers can shoot hearts on our archery butts for your guests entertainment. We could even perform a tourney for your brides favour, and for your guests entertainment during your photography sessions. ​
